Koh Tao currently does not have a fully operational hospital. There are many independent clinics and qualified doctors are limited. The nearest private hospitals are in Koh Samui and Chumphon with the best being located in Bangkok.

If you require a diving medical we would recommend that you visit Bumrungrad in Bangkok, which is one of the highest rated hospitals in this area of Asia.

For those interested in diving, please see the diving medical form that will need to be completed prior to each course. If you have a Medical History, please take this form to your Doctor and inform him/her that you intend to take part in a Scuba diving Programme, and they will advise you if you are fit to dive.

It is adviseable to do this prior to arrival, as qualified Diving Doctors on Koh Tao are limited.
